I have contacted DB Link before buying this wire. they confirmed that it is OFC (oxygen Free Copper)and that it is 10 gauge. After I got the wire it sat in the box until I was ready to install in my home theater. When ready to install, I looked closely at the wire, it turns out that this is not solid copper wire. It is copper clad. And I believe aluminum or other white metal. That is the biggest problem with it. The fact that this is a 12 gauge wire is another. Too bad for me, I was over my 30 day return period. I will not put this wire in my walls, and now have a useless spool of fake wire laying around.

At first I hesitated to purchase this product due to its price. I ordered one roll of 100 foot just to try it out. It was worth it, is not cheaply made. This is my 3 purchase and have recommended it to friends and have ordered multiple quanties for them also. I used it for installing it on 4 car audio installations already. best product ever for its price.
